The latest undertaking, Kiewit Hall, exemplifies the dedication to creating state-of-the-art educational environments. This cutting-edge facility spans 181,000 square feet, and features advanced laboratory and teaching spaces to foster innovation and collaboration among students and faculty. Tune’s role in this project showcases a range of specialized services, including LEED Enhanced Commissioning, Building Envelope Commissioning, and support for WELL certification, emphasizing a commitment to sustainability and occupant health.

In Kiewit Hall, the meticulous commissioning of various systems ensures optimal performance and energy efficiency. This includes heating systems that provide comfort, air handling and cooling systems that ensure a pleasant environment year-round, and HVAC control systems that intelligently regulate indoor climate. Additionally, the plumbing and water systems are critical for both functionality and sustainability. Lighting fixtures and controls are also thoroughly evaluated to promote an effective learning atmosphere while reducing energy consumption.

As part of the comprehensive commissioning process, TUNE oversees the startup and commissioning of essential emergency and backup systems, assuring that Kiewit Hall is innovative and prepared for any eventuality.
